Phone Clock resets after Reboot. 7.0

When i restart my Xperia XZ with 7.0, the Clock resets to March 30 1970 3:30 PM. When its online it corrects Date and Time.
Why Clock and Date resets itself at reboot?

Hi everyone,

I'm very sorry to hear that you are experiencing that date and time are reset when you restart your device. This will be fixed in an upcoming software release. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this causes until then.

UPDATE: The roll out for software version 39.2.A.0.386 have now begun. Please note that timings and availability may vary by country and/or carrier

Does your phone has a taskiller or antivirus? does it has a SIM card?

No Taskiller or antivirus.
Yes SIM Card.

Hi @DarkEyE,

This is very strange. Does it do the same thing if you start the phone in safe mode?

I have the same problem with Android 7.0 on my Sony Xperia XZ.

Model: F8331
Nougat version: 39.2.A.0.327

With Android 6.01 I could switch the smartphone off and on again without the clock was reset.

Since I have carried out the update on nougat, the clock is reset when I turn the smartphone off and on.

Is there a way to fix the problem.

PS. The safe mode I have not yet tested.
Also, I have not reset the smartphone to factory settings.

Mine did once. Only noticed because WhatsApp wasn't working due to incorrect time and date

Try backing up your phone and running a software repair using Xperia Companion.

Has anybody tested the Companion Software Repair? Does it solve the problem?

Same issue. Clock resets to some date in March and WhatsApp says there's an invalid date. Only when the phone syncs to cellular network time, then everything is corrected. WTH Sony!

Yes, same in Safe Mode.
The System Time is wrong, no way to change it for me.
