XF9005 WiFi disconnect after Oreo

The above tv keeps getting the WiFi not connected pop up after installing Oreo. Lots of people reporting same issue on other forums and other Sony TVs too. Not sure if connected but most people with XF9005 have a Sky Q hub. Can it please be looked in to.

Been in touch with sony about this the last 2 weeks. New update coming 27th November. Keep an eye on the kd65xf9005 support page on their website

Good news!
You've had more success than I have. The Sony representative I've been
emailing denied any knowledge of known issues even though I pointed them at
the community discussions.

Let's hope they've got it right this time

When I reported to John Lewis who provide a 5yr warranty. They wouldn't do anything as they had been told by Sony that a fix was in the mix.  That was 2 months ago.  So someone knew about the problem.

 

My issue was resolved as I had a rouge router on the network disturbing everything.

 

Ive turned OFF auto update as im working :slight_smile:

So far so good for me. Done the update on the 28th. Not had the problem since

Good news.
I think I'll wait until they make it available for the auto update to pick

My TV still doesn’t work after the update. Still have to reset the TV at the plug to get it to turn on sometimes. Connection errors on WiFi and Ethernet.
