XF9005 WiFi disconnect after Oreo

The above tv keeps getting the WiFi not connected pop up after installing Oreo. Lots of people reporting same issue on other forums and other Sony TVs too. Not sure if connected but most people with XF9005 have a Sky Q hub. Can it please be looked in to.

Hi.

Well it's been a number of weeks since I disabled ipv6 on the lan side.

My TV is connected via the ethernet cable and I have not had one drop out!

It might be my imagination but my other devices seem to be more stable as
well. My phone is roaming between access points more reliably and I haven't
noticed any other problems.

Cheers

As I've said, I connect my VPN over IPV6, hence I need it

sony are now saying that you dont have to disable vp6 as the fault is on the tv

Yes Sony agree the fault is on the TV but the current version of Android
can't cope with ipv6.

This is why they're suggesting its disabled until a future update fixes the
problem.

Dont hold your breath though as they said this 3 updates ago!

I've updated to PKG6.6555 and  it seems even worse for getting the message and dropping wifi.

So Sony have told me to disable IPV6 on the LAN side last week on my sky router. Since I've do that I've had no wifi drop out or wif not connected message which is good. I have told them this and all they said was we are pleased it has solved the problem and disabling IPV6 wont cause any issue/malfunction. No mention of a future update.
