Uploading pictures from phone to forums.

Hi everyone, I'm unable to upload images from my phone onto forums.  Where it normally says browse, it says 'uploads disabled' any thoughts or ideas as to why this might be please?

My xp10 mini pro is of course running 2.1-update 1, could this be the reason?

are u able to upload them if u open facebook in ur browser ?

Hi, Sorry for the late reply, I was expecting an email when a reply was posted, but I didn't, clearly I'm not fantastic with technology, lol.

Facebook, I've never uploaded images to there until tonight.  My app uploaded my first ever picture perfectly, the browser however says 'uploads disabled'

i mistook it for fb..

so u are getting no problme in uploading to fb right ?

i dont know  if we can upload pics from the phone here..

I think the default browser doesn't support the web kit need to to this. Check if you get the same problem if you use another browser. Try Opera for instance.

Hi, Thanks for the help, I've tried Opera Mini, that does allow me 'choose' an image, but unfortunatley the choice is a list of jpeg numbers, I've no idea which one is which.  When I open the album to find the jpeg number of the picture I need, I can't find any numbers.  If I knew which jpeg number belonged to which image, then it would work.  Any ideas how I identify which number belongs to which image please?  Thanks in advance.

Try to install a file manager from Market and see if you get the option to browse files through that application instead when you're about to upload the picture.

Hi again, I've downloaded a file manager and found my jpeg numbers, perfect, thank you.

I now have a new problem, again lol, how do I copy and paste on this phone please?  I think I need to do a new search, we will get there in the end.
