Will Remote work with MacOS 11.4 ?

I have not got the Remote software on my MacBook to work with my A6400 . I contacted Sony Support in Sweden and they tell me it's because I use MacOS 11.4. Remote has not been updated to work with this version. The SONY page: https://support.d-imaging.sony.co.jp/www/disoft/int/pcenv/se/contents/index.html claims that Remote will work with MacOS 11. Does that not include 11.4 ?

Will there be an update?

Is there any way to make it work anyhow?

Also, regarding the support for imaging edge for MacOs 11.4, it seems that the app still wont support it. I'd say keep an eye on the link you shared earlier as the application gets updated frequently. The only way it would work if the operating system is mentioned in the compatibility list.
