I had the same problem. I fixed it by resting my phone on my laptop. But now I can't off load apps to my SD card. But the SD card doesn't eject anymore. But I can't download all my apps back. Because it won't off load to the SD card it says memory full. But I have over 100gig on my card free.

After updating the system writes the extraction of the sd card. Called the operator, comply with all his instructions and have made the system restore, formatted the sd card, but nothing helps

Hi there! Have a Sony Xperia XA (F3112 - dual SIM version) and have the same problem.

What problem starts from? - After an update version 33.2.B.3.74 is installed whatever by Wi-Fi or PC Companion.

Symptoms:

- Message about SD-card ejecting

- Your applications previously moved to SD have grey (inactive) shortcuts and doesn't launch anymore;

- Your phone reboots in loop and tries to optimize applications and shows the progress in numbers;

- Your phone tries to eject SD-card after 5-10 minutes of inactivity;

- Any problems with SD-card in your phone.

What you shouldn't do - is to format your SD-card before you save your data from it. To do that, power off your phone standard way if it works or pressing power button and volume up button in same time continiously if your phone already stuck in loop. After the phone is unpowered - eject your SD-card and save all needful data from it - your audio, your photos and videos etc. Use your PC or laptop and SD-to-mircoSD adapter for saving data. Then power up your phone without an SD-crad and it will boot correctly and will work fine, so you can save your contacts by using bluetooth for example or synchronize them with your google account if your didn't do this before, also save your other data - maybe some photos in folders etc. Prepare that you will lost all the applications you installed erlier on your phone. At this moment you must be completely sure that all needful data prom your phone is already saved. So if you are sured, then go to settings and use reset to factory settings function with all data erasing. Your phone will reboot immediatly and will set up in some mintutes. After that you can use your phone without an SD-card before Sony will roll up a new update with fix for this issue. So you can install any applications you need, restore your contacts, but you should remember that space at your internal memory is limited and try to use it responsibly. Any using an SD-card before Sony update its software will cause problems.

So I hope you will not lose your important data and have a good experience with your phone.

Same here. Its irritating. I managed to fix it by removing my card while phone is on. It ejected once but never again. But man it is destroying my phone

You don't have to remove your SD-card while the phone is running. You may power off your phone by pressing a combination of power and voume up buttons at the same time continiously, then the phone will shut down and you can securely eject your card to save the data on it.
