I have recovered my Windows XP and am now trying to recover an fdp file. Windows does not recognise this file type. It is a compressed file only accessible using the fingerprint reader authentication on my VAIO VGN-SZ3XWP. When I try to open this .fdp file I am not given the option of using fingerprint authentication. Does anyone know how to recover an fdp file from backup?
