settings -> wireless & network -> mobile networks -> access point names -> MENU -> add new -> enter the data -> menu -> save
also check if there's any issue with your SIM card and/or coverage

After rebooting mobile problem appears again Can it be a problem with SIM card or my operator? I tried another SIM with another operator and it`s works perfectly, without any manipulations with internet settings. Sorry for my english

Another "Factory data reset" solved the problem, for now

diemas i'm having exactly the same problem. check my discussion. I also did the factory reset, and it started working... but a day after it's not working again. the APNs are auto-deleted somehow =(
edit: don't know if this helps, but i'm in portugal using TMN operator. funny that you've tried another sim card and it started working... hmmmmmmmmm

Hi!
I`m from Estonia, using Tele 2 operator. Before factory reset I tried automatic settings from Tele 2, and mobile refused to use them with message "settings cannot be used with your SIM", or something like that. After that I tried manual settings. I took another Xperia with Tele 2 operator (by the way Xperia Neo also upgraded to 4.0 firmware by me with my PC), opened APN and write down same settings, tap Save and nothing happened. I mean APN wasn`t saved.

Diemas i tried a different sim card (from another operator) and it worked fine ............... =\ so i guess it's a problem with the update and some sim card.
i also had o disable PIN security. ... i'm still having the problem since my current card still doesn't save APNs. guess i'll have to buy a new sim.
cheers
