media sound in my x10 is low-pitched

Hi guys, I have a problem, the sound my x10's media is so low-pitched.. however, the sound of ringtones is very good... knowing that, I did augment the sound of the media to its maximum... is there anything I can do to solve this prob?

go to

settings -> applications -> manage applications -> all -> music -> clear everything

also install this Quick Settings app

and then go to the Volume Control

The app won't increase the volume (assuming that is what the original poster wanted) but it is a fine app...

What I mean is that the app won't enable one to increase the maximum volume, but it provides a convenient way of adhering various phone settings from one place. It is free, too...
