go to settings -> applications -> manage applications -> all -> gallery -> clear everything then reboot your phone

I believe it may take a few moments just after boot up for the phone to access the files on the memory card.

The phone needs to refresh the list of files in the SD card.

you can always backup everything and repair your phone with Update Service

How to install it

You need to

go to settings -> applications -> check unknown sources

just to play it safe sync your contacts w/ google if you haven't already

open your phonebook

on your computer
-> download the file -> go to your gmail -> click on contacts -> click on more actions -> on the drop down menu click on "import" -> choose the file -> and click import

did you noticed that the gallery load slower with 2.3.4 than 2.3.3 ?

Now that you mention it, I think it does.:smileysad:

and the same horrendous compression rate Slightly_frowning_Face (camera) hasn't been fixed

i think is my memory card problem, cannot read it (coz i wan to send all my contacts to my gmail which i backup last time in sd card and juz now the phone showed me cannot read sd card), what shud i do for this problem?

and when i go to gallery to see my images the phone showed me "memory card unmounted or not presented"....

try this go to settings -> applications -> manage applications -> all -> gallery -> clear everything

then do this

turn off your phone take the SD card out -> press and hold the power button (w/o the battery) for couple seconds put everything back and turn on your phone, check if it can now read your SD card

Yes. I noticed that. I am actually using the Camera Zoom FX app as my default camera app. It allow you some level of control over the compression ratio.
