short cut problem

i have been playing with adding shortcuts to the home page of my phone and i no longer want them. how do i remove them???? been playing for ages.

long press on the icon/widget until it vibrates then drag it to the bottom center (trash can) it wont delete the app, it will only delete the shortcut to the homescreen/launcher

also I don't know if you have the latest firmware 2.3.3

go to

settings -> about phone -> android version

if you don't then

on your PC install PC Companion or Update Service to check if there's an update available. Make sure you backup everything before hand

if the update to 2.3.3 it's not available on  your country/network you can install it manually
