How do i get back my contacts button, i do not know where it disappeared all of a sudden

the app drawer should be a small ^ icon so you can see ALL your apps

when I say LONG press on the homescreen it should be long press on an EMPTY space on the homescreen

Do you mean the Contacts app no longer shows on your home screen? If so, you would need to go into your main menu, press and hold the Contacts app until the home screen appears, drag the icon to where you would like it to be on the home screen and let go.

yeah my contact app is missing, i am unable to find it on my phone menu or anywhere on my phone, but when i go to applications>manage application and sort it will all i can see that contacts app. Now how do i bring it to the menu???

It is like how do i add this icon to my menu list???

It would not be possible to completely remove the Contacts app from the phone.

If you cannot see the contacts app in the phones menu, can you see it on the handsets home screen? Also, please could you confirm whether it is the X10 or the X10 Mini Pro you have as I noticed you posted the same question in the X10 Mini Pro section?

i have a x10 mini, at first i wrongly posted it. i cannot see the contacts app in the menu, do not know where it disappeared all of a sudden, BTW what is the procedure to add a icon on to the menu?

The simple way to add an icon on the homescreen

open your app drawer -> long press on one of the apps -> drag it ot the homescreen

or on the homescreen -> press MENU -> Add -> shortcuts -> Application -> select the app

If i press the menu button on home screen i have only 3 options which are Change Wallpaper, Arrange Widgets, Arrange Icons, cannot find shortcuts menu

btw what is app drawer??? long press of the 4 small square buttom is nto bringing any menu.
