Hello, the icons start floating when you long press one of them, this just means that you can drag them around and change the order of which the icons are presented.
I think it's long press if not it will be when you go to the icon sorting bit.

Txs! It seems to be correct answer even if I dont understand (old man with only a couple of days Arc expeience) the trigger. I cant reproduce the floating - suddenly it starts ;-). But I tested to move icons and it works. I think I need to consult the user guide awailable some where on the net. Many thanks.
