In India, Reliance Jio is launching its commercial service in coming months, It will support only Voice over LET (VoLTE) and No 2G/3G voice services. Many phones recently launched in India do support VoLTE feature and other manufacturers enabling this future with a software update. Xperia M4 Aqua has SD615 processor which inherently support VoLTE future, So please activate/enable this future with a software update.
Thanks

I do not have any information regarding if you can see if the model supports it or not, however it is dependant on the operator so I recommend to have a word with them to see if they know more.
Here is what I found out on internet regarding VoLTE settings:
Launch the Dialer app on your phone, and dial *#*#4636#*#*.
Site: Enabling VoLTE
I can see that bydefault this Flag is turned ON in my M4 Aqua (May be because it's US variant)
Check yours and confirm.
Dear Emir,
In India Networks and Phones are unlocked. Network provider (Reliance Jio) does not add or remove any Phone model to work in their network nor provide support for any specific model. It supports all LTE phones for using Internet and all Volte enabled phones for Voice calls.
Xperia M4 aqua Supports only LTE but not Volte. For some God known reasons Sony disable this feature (*#*#4636#*#* Dialer options did not work).
On hardware front SD615 supports HD Voice and On Software front Androind Supports it from Lollipop onwards.
What we are all crying here is to enable this future by giving a software update. ( To say it again Network will not do this, Being a Manufacturer Sony has to do it.)
I have contacted Sony India Xperia Support team regarding this issue, and their replay was its a hardware limitation!!! and they will not help.
Emir, I hope you understand the situation, There is a reason why many are asking the same thing again and again. If there is a way you could help us that would be great,
Dear all cursed M4 aqua users,
Forget about it. Sony is not going to enable Volte on any old phones.
Its not only M4 aqua, all 2014, 2015 and early 2016 Xperia LTE Phones does not support Volte. Only Z5 and new X series support it.
Other Manufactures have not disabled Volte purposely on any of their models, It simply depends on their SoC Capability. To name Moto E2 that released on early 2015 and costs 1/5th of M4aqua Supports Volte.
So the costly lession we have learnt is
Sony will not care about Customer support or Satisfication,
Sony will not give anything thats needed, insted they dump all their crapy Apps and Softwares and they call them features.
Sony is not future proof ( not even for an year).

Are you sure this dialer option doesn't work for you? It works on my Xperia M4 Aqua and also on Xperia ZR/Xperia SP and this code is not Sony specific but it's Android one so it should work.
Hi, I mean Dialer option is working, But its not activating Volte. I Clicked on Volte Provisioned Flag and checked for Enhanced Voice or HD voice options in Settings, but no such option is available. Checked after restarting, Nothing again.
Anything else?
I am not sure why you are looking for HD voice option as it shouldn't be related to VoLTE directly.
Also if VoLTE Flag is Turned ON on your mobile then ideally it should work. I don't have Jio SIM with me to try this so can't confirm if it works or not but atleast we have VoLTE Flag enabled.
There is no other setting anywhere related to VoLTE AFAIK.
Edit: Can see VoLTE in System UI tuner settings as given in other thread but nothing happenes using that shortcut

Hi, this is Archana. I have a Sony M5. While playing game it suddenly got shut down. Even force start is not possible. When put on charging it shows the red light. But not switching on.
May be it would have lost charge due to gaming, charge it for some time (say 2-3 hours) and try switching it on again.
Also this is not the right thread for this. Please make sure you post in right thread.
