The My Sony site is difficult to login to, it is very picky about browsers and blockers.
I have finally managed to login and want to change my email address for login. I have navigated to the relevant account page but get a message that there has been a "technical problem" and to try again. I have never managed to get it to work.
Is there a contact for support for the website itself?
@gradams55, it happened with me and it worked by trying different browser. Have you tried it?
I have tried Safari, Chrome and Firefox, I get the same result.
Hey gradams55, you need to contact Sony to delete the account and create another one, I don't think you can change the email itself.
Via Mobile Browser (Chrome dev) on Android 10 I can change my Account's e-mail by myself:
But it says that I can, it just always gives the message
"Sorry! We are experiencing temporary technical problems. Thank you for your patience while we fix them. Please come back later."
If I delete the account I will lose the product details I have registered.
Just tried Chrome on a Chromebook, same result.
Hey gradams55, I called Sony, they said you can actually change the email, I tried and it worked. But if you're still facing this issue try a different network maybe? Or contact Sony directly.
I am in touch with Sony. So far they have not been able to fix it.
As I said I have tried different browsers and operating systems and networks.
It looks like it is something specific to my account.
Hey gradams55, so weird indeed. I might have told you this before, I think the only solution is to delete the account and start fresh.
