Contacts to SIM

Hi,

How do I transfer contacts from the phone to the SIM-card ? I wish to have all my contacts on the SIM-card if I change telephone.

Regards,

Olle

Hi @Bello2,

You can transfer the contacts to your SIM card if you start with opening up the Contacts application in your phone > press the 4 lines in the bottom right corner of your screen > Export/backup contacts > SIM card.

@NeoBeum, The Xperia E has a "menu" key instead of a task key, so it looks a bit different in the phones that don't have the 3 dots! Slightly_smiling_Face

Let me know how it went! Slightly_smiling_Face

Select the contacts and Export to SIM from the Vertical Ellipses/Triple Dot Options

Thanks, but the problem is that I can´t find the sign (triple dot options) on my phone (Xperia E-dual) can you give me additional info ?

Long press contact. Or do what ever it is to get your options menu. You have physical buttons right?

My android 4 was a galaxy. Before that was x10 mini in droid 2.3. I forget things.

I could transfer to sim on both, and I can now on a z5c, so you will be able to, it's there somewhere.

Take a screen cap of your phone book, and filter out all the numbers, and post up the pic of the UI, I can't find any online

Is that like one of the silver keys on the x10 mini? Been a while since I've used it

@NeoBeum, That is correct. The left button on Xperia X10 Mini will open up a menu in the applications that have one! Slightly_smiling_Face

It's the same on most phones (Xperia Arc S is another example) that have "hardware" buttons just below the screen.

I knew it had to be somewhere
