Xperia C4 Dual - Rebooting when connected to charger

Hi,

I am facing a very weird issue with C4 dual. Whenever, I am connecting my phone to charger for charging, the boot boots, Xperia logo apprears and phone shutt off. Again, the same thing gets repeated.

I have tried using different chargers but the problem still persists. Its very annoying and irriating.

Could any one help me out what exactly is the matter? Its the hardware problem or something else?? I am not able to use my phone since it is not getting charged?

Regards

Hardik

So...

Today was even wierder, I turned the phone on in the morning and it showed 100% battery charge, I got to work and it was at 47%(40 minutes later), so I plugged it to my work pc at the office, It started the reset cycle I described in the previous post, I decided to unplug it and see if I could use it with the remaining charge, but now it wouldn't turn on at all, then i used a blackberry wall adapter and the front led turned green, when I pushed the power button it showed that it had a 99% charge (It had been plugged only for 10 minutes) and then it started up, after that it went all black again and turned off.

I used to think it was a battery calibration problem, but now I don't have an idea

I have the same problem here. I've been using my phone for about 6 months. It happens 1 week ago and i did a software repair than. After that my phone has no problem, then it started again.

Anyone get this problem solved? I think when i charge on low battery it kept rebooting, but when its above 50% its fine.

I am experiencing the exactly same problem. I got the battery changed ans software updated too. But it still persists. Plus, sometimes there's a pop up that says battery temparature is too low-unplug the charger. Has solution been found yet? I'm in desparate need of one!

Hello everyone!

I have bad news for you, I went to my Sony costumer service so my phone could be checked by the manufacturer, two weeks later I went to pick it up, they gave me a new one (because of guarantee), they told me that the problem was caused by a software update problem on the logic card, and that it couldn't be fixed, I highly recommend that you take your phones to your nearest costumer service as soon as possible.

I have been having exactly the same problem since a week. I have the Sony Xperia C4 dual Sim. It usually happens to me when the battery is nearly fully charged. So overnigh it invariably switches off. Cant find a solution and its very disconcerting

Hi Guys..
I had faced the same issue that the C4 phone is keep rebooting when phone is charging. The phone started misbehaving like battery is getting down to 0 from 80 percent and suddenly phone will be dead. But when I am powering on it is showing around 80% of charge.

Later I found the the issue is happening due to the battery connection band to phone. When I am keeping that band in some position phone is charging proper.

Later I ordered one new battery from eBay and tried my luck but it worked for me. The new battery is performing well ans I never faced the rebooting issue again.

Rds,

Same problem here with my C4 Dual sim. Called the dealer and described the problem. They said no warranty becuase it sounds like a battery problem and they will not cover this POS phone. Now my touch screen doesn't work randomly. When I do manage to reboot or power down, I now get a black/blank screen completely but I can tell the phone is on when I push the power button due to vibration. My phone drains to 0% in a matter of 5 minute from 70%. When connecting to a OEM charger, It still says 70%.

Worst phone I've ever owned after HTC, Asus and Nokia. My first and last Sony phone.
