Hi !
You are probably aware about this common problem with many Sony mobile phones. I have this phone for 2 weeks and stil can't solve the problem. I browzed the Net and rad a lot of recomendations. I restarted the rotor and the phone. Whatever I did I still can't connect to my home wi fi. I have another Samsung Galaxy phone connected to this wi fi, a desktop PC, a laptop and 2 tablets. As for this new Sony phoe I always have authentication problem message. The signal is exellent.
I sent e-mail to Sony support page but they do not answer. Today I talked to the guy at Sony shop and they pretend as if they have never heard about it.
I wolud welcome any real assistance. Thanks.

Hello to everyone I was having the same problem with my phone. I called Sony and they told me to start the phone in safe mode if works means is an application. And is true. In my case it was an t-mobile app. Delete it and solve.
Hi, my device wont connect to my router at home. I have been in contact with Sky and o2 and both are adamant its not them. I recently read online that most recent update from sony has caused problems. Been reading also if i change push notifications can resolve the issue. Can someone assist me please? All my data is getting used cause my phone wont connect. All my devices in house connect no probs and everyone that comes to house can connect no problem. Thanks
I have the same issue with my Sony Xperia. I need to reboot the phone everytime I come home to get connected to wifi. The simpliest solution is to buy a Samsung or Pixel phone.
Hi there,
I'm certain this problem has already been addressed as thoroughly as it can be, but, I'll throw my experience in with the mix.
I tried all of the stated solutions to my problem as well, and then realized that I rarely (I'm talking never) shut my phone down. After exhausting all of the forums and help articles that a poor girl could find, I admitted defeat and restarted my phone. To my surprise, I found that my wifi was working correctly immediately after this-and I have made it a point to shut my phone down and leave it off for a number of hours every day.
I'm not saying it's a solution, I'm only saying that it works for my Sony Xperia S and it is once again surfing my own internet instead of accruing data related mileage.
Best of luck,
LadyWalks
