I have a Sony Z3 Compact Tablet. The Sony Email app, part of the factory installed software, has started acting up. Images sent to me by email and html pages forwarded to me do not display correctly.
The images and text flash, the image/html pages appear to be causing a random scrolling effect with a cursor on the right side of the email message randomly bouncing up and down uncontrollably. This appears particularly bad on large message embedded images and at all times with any html emails.
Attempting to scroll through the messages with images or html aggrevates the random bouncing and what appears to be an attempt by the app to reload email repeatedly. Emails consisting of text load and scoll correctly. Images as attachments can be saved and viewed with seperate photo apps fine.
No other problems with the tablet and all tests run succesfully.
It is a Sony email app specific problem.
I installed blue mail which works fine but I have a substantial historical accumulation important emails in the Sony email app that I dont want to loose.
Anyone have a solution for the issue? Thanks for any wisdom.
