STH50C Headset microphone not working
My headset microphone is not working by HUAWEI P30 Pro during a phone call, but audio recorder is working. What could be the problem?
Thanks,
Viktor

Hi Viktor,
Most likely you're using the wrong Bluetooth profile. Please make sure that you're using the headset mode.
Cheers

It doesn't seem like the mic is the issue, could be the phone not using it during a call for some reason.
Have you possibly tried using them with a different phone/device?

Yes, I tried a samsung phone, but it doesn't work the same way during a call.

So it works on the Samsung phone but not on the Huawei one?

No, it doesn't work on any of them.

That's peculiar, the mic is working so I can only assume that the issue is with the phones not allowing it to pick up audio during calls?
Have you tried using it with a PC/laptop?

Works perfectly with a computer.

That means the issue is definitely on the phones/Android side somehow. Maybe try using it with another phone or tablet.
If you're planning to use it with your phone in the first place, you can have the store test it out for you and return it if it doesn't work for you (hopefully, if you're within the returns period)
Hope this helps!
