Just a quick question.
I have managed to install Windows 7 32 bit and I absolutely love it, although I did originally try to install it in 64 bit but I could not find a driver to work with the graphics card, the 9300M GS, I'm guessing this may have something to do with the Speed and Stamina function. I would like to install the 64bit OS on to it but cannot seem to find a correct driver.
There is this one on the Nvidia website:
http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/notebook_winvista_win7_x64_195.62_whql_uk.html
but it says not to use on Vaio Laptops.
I have the Vaio VGN-Z21WN/B
There must be a 64 bit version around somewhere as the Z series with that graphics card is available now from Sony and has been available for a while in the US.
Anyway with any links or ideas of where to get the driver from, please do let me know!
Thanks.
Hi Tom_robbo,
In order to use a non Sony NVIDIA driver you need a modified .inf file.
I suggest that you have a look here:
