Hi Guys,
I have a VGN-S3HP which has developed a system fault. I was bought by my father-in-law around oct 08 (as far as I can determine.. he cannot locate the original receipt)
It has developed a fault (screen flicker-lock ups) It is definitely a Hardware fault as applying gentle pressure to the keyboard makes the fault come and go.
I have been all over the vaio website and registered in club vaio, but cannot find confirmation of whether the unit is still under warranty. It just says " depends on purchase date" on the specifications section
Could somebody please help a VAIO newbie... I can check this kind of thing EASILY on HP and IBM's site... WHERE CAN I FIND A WARRANTY CHECK ??
I've been going round and round the site and now i'm just looping to the same pages.. i'm getting dizzy.. help me.. Please
