When you create 3 recovery disks, reset machine to factory condition A.S.A.P.!

Hi Guys and Dolls! Happy New Year!

Last July we bought a Sony Vaio VGN-CS21S/R from John Lewis Oxford Street Branch in the summer sales. I created two sets of 3 recovery disks propmptly, but did not use them straight away, thinking that my computer is OK! Norton 360 Version 3 virus etc. protection was sold with the machine, in an almost empty box, no instruction manual, just a compact laser data disk! It worked well for a while, but not with Vista Service Pack 2.

Having only recently reset my Sony Vaio VGN-CS21S/R to factory condition, I have realised that I should have done this at the first place, last July! Now, the computer is like a brand new toy, just fresh out of the box, and all the messing about by the John Lewis people is removed. Not to mention that I have had two months of free McAfee Virus Protection in the machine, and there was no need to buy Norton 360 Version 3.

I have been able to link up to Club Vaio long last!

Was your Vaio a display model as your Vaio should be 'factory condition' when you fist boot it up..
