If it came with Vista, you should only update it to Windows 7 to avoid performance issues. That said, after checking the support page, it doesn't seem to have driver downloads anymore, so I can't really confirm if it can run it properly.
The Manual also mentions it supports CDs, DVDs and Blu-rays on page 38-40.
