Vaio Update problem with WinDVD

Yesterday i installed from Vaio Update program WinDVD BD 8.0.20.169 after finishing the update it restarted my pc and then asked to update WinDVD BD 8.0.20.89 a previous version that i already installed a while a go. I tried to install it but it said that the update failed Error Code 0xA0011000..... why the vaio update shows as available update a previous version of windvd? what is happening?

My vaio is a VGN-FW51JF..... ANY REPLIES? HAS ANYONE THE SAME PROBLEM?

Hi Dimkatsa,

welcome to Club VAIO..

There has been some strange problems reported with Vaio Update 5 over the past few days and they appear to correct themselves after a day or so, occasionally a system restart can help..

If the previous version of WinDVD BD does not disappear from Vaio Update then please post back and will see if we can help further..
