Memory upgrade for C1z/B,help please

Hi there,

Just trying to work out what is the correct memory i need to purchase to upgrade my C1z/b vaio. Am i right in thinking i need to get a DDR2 SDRAM for my vaio? Also does it have to say on the product i buy 533 mhz, thats what the current memory is? I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction of what i need to buy.

In answer to your questions:

Your model supports DDR2 PC2-4200 or DDR2 PC2-5300 (200-pin SODIMM) with a maximum of 1GB per slot.

If you cannot get 533 mhz modules 667 mhz modules are backwardly compatible, although you may not get the benefit if the speed.

If you run the Crucial.com memory scanner this should analyze and recommend compatible memory for your machine.
