HDMI Audio output issue on Windows Seven

Greetings to all VAIO community im proud owner of VGN FZ-180E that came with Vista, blueray and NVDIA card Ge Force 8400m GT that work good on Vista, but since Windows Seven came out i decided to move there and upgrade my VAIO.

Everything worked good until i decided to hook up my christmas present a brand new BRAVIA XBR9, to my upgraded Windows 7 VAIO, the video was amazing it gave 1080p the highest quality !!!
but then i notice i wasnt getting any sound trough the HDMI connection  , only video and no sound.

I´ve been try to upgrade the sound driver without getting any HDMI audio aoput yet
I also upgraded the NVIDIA driver to de 195.62 series, and 182.50 but that didn't work either.
So I call sony support as well, after spending 3 hour of on line support, the operator give up and conclude that sony do not support windows seven on FZ series.

So does anybody have an idea of how to get Audio sound and video at the same time trough the HDMI cable on Windows Seven for the FZ VAIO series thanks.

give this ago, i had the same problem:-

•Unplug the HDMI cable and close WinDVD

•Go to: [Control Panel / Sound] options

•Select the HDMI properties

•Go to "enhancements" tab. Click "Restore Defaults". Click Apply.

•Then click "Disable all enhancements" checkbox and hit ok

•Plug in HDMI cable and open Win DVD

•Sound then worked when playing DVDs

It's quite specific in that the HDMI cable must be unplugged before this will work - don't ask me why! 😛 - but it's helped me correct the problem twice now (had to go back to a restore point).
