"your display environment does not support protected content playback" How do i correct this issue?

Hi MYVWs and welcome.

Blu-Ray has enhanced copy protection - so it will not let you play a disc on two devices at once. It thinks you are trying to copy it. To solve this turn off your Vaio's display and just show the Blu-Ray on your TV. Press Fn + F7 to toggle to the HDMI output to TV only.

There could be other reasons. Your TV may not be HDCP compliant or you are using a connection other than HDMI.
