What on earth shall I do now .. the only reason I purchased this tv 2 months ago was for the vewd store or google play, this model has Vewd store. Only today as I went in to the application a pop up has come up saying "this service will no longer be available on this device from 25th june 2019" after searching on sony i found the reason why.. When purchasing this tv no 1 had alerted me that this would happen, no one sent me a letter or an email to confirm this problem. The only reason i bought the tv was for the vewd store.. now this tv is usless to me .. i feel like i have been tricked and lied to in to buying this tv.. what can i do now as this tv is rubbish to me when this will come in place, please advise

I too have this problem. Surely the reason to buy a smart tv is to access the app store which as a non android
user is no longer available after 25th June.
Hi there,
It's true that VEWD will no longer be available on the TV. There doesn't seem to be an alternative at the moment apart from getting an external device with smart features (Roku, Amazon Firestick, a Blu-ray player that supports apps, etc.)
