"BLEEDING" white corners Sony "KD-65X85K"
My KD-65X85K TV is only 2days old and showing signs of white haze/shadows in the top right/left corners, esp while playing games on my ps5/XB's.X
Eg: night time or in a dark room...
Is my TV faulty??? Any Help?
Also I can't see/find the "Backlight" tab?
Thanks mark.
P.s. sorry if this is in the wrong section.

Hi @MarkPaine69 If you are not happy with it, check the retailers return policy and reject the TV. If it was on-line, you don't even have to give a reason.

Hi... Thanks for replying.
Just got off phone with Currys and went through their testing and reset of Tele and it still does it.
To then be told they can't help me cos I did not buy my Xbox from themselves nor my playstation5, althou I bought my ps5 directly from Sony themselves.
I told her it shouldn't make a difference because my Original TV that they couldn't fix didn't have the BLEEDING problem, so teknikally neither of the consoles to blame... #crazylady #wonkeyworld.

If it is a brand new TV bought very recently then you should return it for a refund or demand a replacement.
It is normal for LED backlit TV panels to have some light bleed.
How bad is it on your TV, does it really disrupt your enjoyment of the picture.
The two consoles have got nothing to do with the quality of the TVs picture so needn't have been involved in a discussion with Currys. That just confuses the issue, all you need to have said is that the TV which you purchased has unacceptably high levels of light bleed and you would like a replacement or a full refund.

Thanks 4 replyin.
As mentioned above, this NEW TV is a replacement for the OLD TV they couldn't fix as the old one had a COVER plan.
So they offered me this one, an updated version, so I excepted... But to NO fault of my own, something ain't right with it?
It does spoil my gaming.

You didn't make it very clear that this 2 day old TV is an under warranty replacement.
Have you got back in touch with Curry's and explained the problem with this new TV
clearly and concisely. And if o what did they say.

Yes I know you said that you had contacted Curry's.
I was asking had you subsequently contacted Curry's and stated your problem in a clear and concise manner.
As I said the consoles have nothing to do with the picture on your screen.
Therefore you should not have mentioned them.
The person on the phone at Curry's has obviously not listened to you properly thinking that the
fault you were describing was caused by your consoles.
Phone them up, say you received the TV as an under warranty replacement for your original TV which could not be
repaired and you think the level of light bleed is too high and affects your viewing experience.
See if they will give you a straight swap. If not you may have to go higher up the ladder and write a letter to somebody, most of the time speaking to somebody on the phone these days is useless.

Hey @MarkPaine69
If Curry's won't help, you can contact Sony and provide them with some pictures, and they will implement some tests to define the issue and then will help you with a service policy for the TV?
