It could, no guarantee....Due to the flash memory architecture being slowly compared to HDD, you have to be sure to buy at least a very fast one. First check the TV make is read/write performance...
PS BTW, Flash memory are really more expensive than HDD in relation to the storage you can have.. so unless you have physical limitation (ok flash memory are more handy) I would recommend an HDD in any case
