Hi @muffin1947
Do you still have the TV model: KDL-42W653A and is this error is on this particular TV.
If so, this particular error was reported fixed by the BBC in December last year. I have been hearing reports that this might have re-occured, but no one is replying back to confirm their model number of the TV. Without a model number I cannot report this up the chain via Sony to the BBC.
At current it is confirmed as:
- 2011 Models - BBC is terminating iPlayer, but previously had this error message
- 2012 Models - No error messages on iPlayer
- 2013 Models - Unconfirmed reportings - I suspect though
- 2014 Models - Has this error message.
Cheers

I have this error on a Sony KDL-32W705C- I also have a problem on the same TV in that I can load Netflix but when I select a program/film to watch it loads very slowly and then drops back to the TV channel
