i have just updated my xperia10 to the latest software, can someone please tell me how you exit the internet seeing has the feature has been removed from the touch screen???
Although pressing the back key keeps the homepage open it is not using data, as the handset downloads cookies which allow the page to be visible. You will notice that when you access the browser again it does not refresh it stays as it was before, you will only use data if the website is related to streaming content.
With the X10 handset simply tap the back to get out of the browser or tap the menu key and select windows and press the X beside the website you wish to terminate.

thankyou very much for your help, its nice to know these things. you seem to have answerd my problem with great knowledge about these phones unlike my provider orange who i have rung customer sevices 4 times with my complaint and they have not got a clue. thankyou once again
