I have not yet downloaded new java applications to my W995a and would first like to know if there are any problems that I may encounter.
Other than doing a full backup first, is there anything else I should be aware of?
A better web browser will be my first download, such as Opera Mini.
Also an email platform (other than Gmail).
Thanks.

I have been using the W995 for over a year now and haven't yet encountered any problems with installing Java apps.Just to be safe though, and where this is possible, it's best to download these apps to your PC first (there are plenty of good Java apps on Getjar.com), have your PC's antivirus software scan them and then transfer the .jar or .jad file to your phone for installation.Opera mini is indeed a great browser and there are at least two versions of the mobile app--you should try Opera mini 5 beta.As for email, the W995 has an excellent set up Wizard, so you shouldn't have any problem setting up multiple email client accounts on the phone.Hope this helps.
