SMS center missing after s/w update

Hello All

I cant send any sms, when i decide to check my sms center number i was in for a shock.....the sms center is missing!!! how can i send sms now, is there any way...psl dont tell me i have to reinstall....oh god....pls help. Thanks in advance.

I am also having the same problrm and that is great you got the solution, Can you please explain it again step by step one more time. I think some step is missing. I am also following the same procedure but not getting the success. Please tell me what is meant by "tap refresh space" you mentioned. My service provider is Reliance smart and there message center number is +919827002222. Please help!

Hi SoS

You can try my previous reply, just try to get the message center number of reliance. I got 2 from the web - +919247055008 & +919020000060 , use these numbers in them....once your inputted numbers are accepted, switch off your mobile and switch on, it should work. well for me it worked after many trys. No point calling the help centers ....the people who are answering the phones are not technically knowledgable about any 3G phone. One thing u can try is take your phone directly to the mobile shop and ask them to set the message center number for you.

Hello !!!!!.. I have Sony xperia 10....and same problem I am facing - Can;t send my msgs.....i tried so many times...searched so many sites but didnt get any solution.....i tried so many times to put message center no. (after dialing *#*#4636#*#*) but showing same error (Update error and refresh error)..some of my friends mentioned in this blog that they have resolved this probelm. i would request to them please help me.....other wise i really hate this mobile now...or should i change my SIM....

Hi, just wondering .... I would suggest test phone with another SIM Card? how about testing your current SIM Card on another phone? Just to be sure that it is not SIM Card problem.
