Problem when Im trying to send a large txt!!

Hi guys! I have my Xperia... I love my X10!!!! but now with the new sw 2.1 when Im trying to send more than 1 txt at the same time Im having a box saying Could Not Send... I have the problem only when my txt is long at is converted to 2 sms... Can u please help me to know what is going on??

this is a bug that most X10 users, including myself, are experiencing

Some had been able to get rid of this by going to

Settings

               wireless & networks

                                             Mobile networks

                                                                           Network mode

                                                                                                    GSM only

There seems to be another thing that trigger it, if you have a LOT of texts in your messaging app, it will give you that error.

it all depend on who is your carrier, for most people it does not affect their 3G or H coverage, for others it does affect that and they only receive 2G or G.

an easy way to check for that, on the top next to the bars, what letter and number do you see?

Some users have this issue, just like uliwooly is saying.

We're investigating this to find out why some have this and also of course why not all users have this issue.

Some users have been able to solve the issue by doing a factory reset of their phone. I can't confirm that this is a fully working solution since I've never had this issue myself - but please, feel free to try this. If you do, I'd love to get some feedback on the result.

You can do this at Settings > Privacy > Factory data reset.

Use handcent...SE seems to be really good at messing up things that work great for everyone else

and remember the more SMS/MMS you have stored in your phone, the more often this will happen
