Problem in sony ericsson sync + PC companion

Hi I am facing problem while using sony ericsson sync. The contact info and other details of my phone is not being stored in online sony ericsson account. I can only take backup of my contact info in memory stick. Also my phone is not being detected by sony ericsson PC companion software that comes with the phone and I am not being able to use my X10 mini pro. Plzz hlp..

As for the contact sync, you might want to try sync-ing with your gmail account.

Thanks for your answer. If I use sync using gmail account shold I be able to store all the phone contacts in my google account and vice versa?
