Phone keeps restarting

My xperia x8 keeps restarting-I tried to remove the battery & turned it off; and turn it on again, but the same thing happens.

I cannot get to the main menu. It just keeps repeating the same process over & over again. This happened when I was using an app. The app lagged and it restarted and now it keeps restarting.

When I connected it to a charger and turned off, it's fully charged. Can you please give me some solutions to my problems?

try to repair the phone with Update Service

you will lose all your sms/mms/data/settings/contacts (unless you have a backup somewhere)
