phone as modem

Hi I am trying to use my C903 as a modem , my phone connects fine to my computer using Sony Ericsson PC Companion 2.0 and does log on to the internet via my phone but when I visit a webpage the page does not load. the signal on my phone is ok .any idea's on why it is not working ?? thanks Dawn

This might sound pedantic, but two things to check:

1) Main menu--Settings--Connectivity--Internet & Streaming settings: Here make sure that the Allow local conn is set to Yes, as this facilitates local connections including USB.

2) Also under Connectivity--USB--Advanced--Internet Access--make sure this is set to Internet via Phone.
