I have a neo which I bought while in Hong Kong. Recently I moved to India and I think I will hold on to the Neo as I like it.
My question is that in the recent update which has 2.3.3 and the one which I want to upgrade to: will it continue to have the native chinese applications which came loaded? I want to get rid of them and use an English only ROM.
Thanks.

Thanks apc_use; appreciate the help.
These apps came loaded on the phone.
I do not want to add these apps but I want to remove them and hence the post.
Ok in that case, the update to Android 2.3.4 will be released soon. So usually the XDA developers will release a Global generic versiion of the firmware.
You can then download the GG version and manually update the phone..
Officially, it was announced that 2.3.4 will be released around October this year.
Thanks.
Is there anyway in which we can specify which version to install?
I am currently on 2.3.2 and would want to switch to 2.3.3 with the official generic version.
Check out this link to the various Neo firmware.

Use the flash tool to update the firmware
Thanks apc_user
This is using the flash tool which is not the official way of updating it.This will void my warranty.
Any official way of doing this? Moderators - any answers?
What's your SI number? You'll find it under the battery.
