I have a neo which I bought while in Hong Kong. Recently I moved to India and I think I will hold on to the Neo as I like it.
My question is that in the recent update which has 2.3.3 and the one which I want to upgrade to: will it continue to have the native chinese applications which came loaded? I want to get rid of them and use an English only ROM.
Thanks.

Unfortunately, there is no official way to do it.
You can only do it the unofficial way as far as I am aware.

Thats not right; shouldn't the user have the right to choose ?
Johan - HK's official language includes English.
I will wait for official 2.3.4 version and live with the Chinese apps. Unless SE does something about it.
When is it expected?
OE

Yes in principle, I agree with you but I think due to the agreements with the local operators and also the region the phone is being sold in, SE has vearious versions I suppose

It's not possible to delete these app's in a official way. To delete your HK customized app's you'll have to do it in a unofficial way which may void your warranty.
