I played the game before I did software update, and once it's done I tried to play Star Battalion game, but it could not be operational
after its intro video finished and blanks out white to quit the game entirely:smileyangry: on its own.
Solved! Go to Solution.
To resolve this issue, I suggest deleting the downloaded game data from the SD card and restarting Star Battalion as this will prompt you to download the game again and should solve the issue.
I just got mine out of the box and it refuses to download the necessary files to play Star Battalian...
Where is it located in the SD card? I have checked under games loft but it doesn't have SB in there and there is another folder just called games and has com.gameloft.android.GAND.GloftStsq.ML but i have no idea if this is starbattalion or not?
what to do
Yes the folder: *:\Games\com.gameloft.android.GAND.GloftStsq.ML\ contains the Star Battalion SD files.
You could tell by opening the folder with a file manager on your phone and looking at the movie logo or intro.
It will 9 out of 10 times show you the game intro. (This should tell you what game the folder belongs to.)
As for how to get it working I can only suggest some things as I never had problems with the game so far.
- Make sure your wifi is enabled and working. (Could be confirmed by browsing the internet on the phone succesfully with 3G disabled.)
- Delete the folder "com.gameloft.android.GAND.GloftStsq.ML" and try downloading it again. (Could be that the files on your SD card are corrupted.)
- If you have a spare SD card try installing it on that one. (To make sure your SD is not the problem)
If after all the above the game still does not work you could try to factory reset your phone.
Another option would be to contact Gameloft and ask for help.
Good luck I hope you get it working soon!
Question: What firmware does your Play run on?
Greetz, moi.
I should have come back in here but I recently worked out to delete the contents of the folder and have been playing Star Battalian.
Unfortunately when I was exploring the folder it just had a whole lot of .ogg files and some txt xml files with no specific information but I searched that folder name and it came up with .pdf with someone from
Sony Answers also helping out someone else who had a similar problem.
After playing it for a while the voice dialog dissapeared and I am wondering if it could have been the .ogg's I deleted earlier and then when i exited the game the phone was flashing for a while and i had to restart but I suppose the buggyness is mainly gamelofts fault.
The phone is on 2.3.3 Android with build number - 3.0.1.A.0.145 from New Zealand.
