Help turning off sms delivery receipts? xperia x10 mini

Hi, I'm new to this phone and can't find any information on how to turn off delivery reciepts, which I have just noticed i'am being charged for!! Any help would be GREAT

Hi Floatingonabreeze, open messaging app, MENU (left hard button), tap Settings, uncheck Delivery report.
