Hi can any one tell me if they have the same problem as myself when using the video camera recording !! as mine after approx 5 mins seems to freeze the picture for a second then on play back all of the sound sync is out(this is fine untill 4 mins then it all goes pear shaped).....ive changed the memory card, reset the phone etc etc with no solution solved, the phone is only a day old and i really dont want to send it back, but its driving me mad as ive lost so many memorable video captures.....i was hoping se was back on top with this new phone as with every se phone that ive bought (x10, x10 mini, x10 mini pro, x8, vivaz along with many more ) there is always something thats not right ???? im at my tether with sony ericsson now and really am thinking of never buying anything with sony ericsson on again !!

hi ive downloaded the new update and its still the same(ive also tried 4 new memory cards, and reset my phone a number of times)......other colleagues that have also bought the xperis arc have also noticed this problem (along wv other ppl on this forum) so i know its not just my phone with this fault.......i predict in the next few months that you will be inundated with complains regarding this matter, so an update is essential, and we all would appreciate it ,as these phones arnt pocket change at 499 pounds each.
I personally havent tested it (might try it this weekend when I go for a b'day party)
Sadly couple of my friends who brought SE Arc 2 days before me and who recommended the mobile to me also encountering the same problem and had returned the mobile already.
Shame that such a nice mobile has a such a problem. SE if you are reading this please try fix the problem else there could be a big bounce back from Arc.
Hi and thx, ive also just noticed (FAULT NUM 3 !!) that txt messages that ive sent over the last 2 days had not been sent !!! ive received messages, calls, and emails wth no probs, but for some reason its not been sending them, i had to pull the battery out and restart the phone..and as soon as i did that all 28 messages got sent........ ive noticed problem after problem with this model the biggest being the sound sync in HD video recording....typical sony ericsson faults, why is it that all other manufacturers (including the cheap ones) get it right, think i might send it back and get a phone like a cheepie LG that i know will work, ive put enough money in sony ericssons pocket now to almost buy them out, shame really i thought this Xperia Arc was going to be the new change around for SE, but i was sadly mistaken once again.
Hmmm...SE still Not answered Yet...i'm very disappointed...this is my first SE device...and will be the last if SE didn't hear us... =(

Ive been chatting via telephone to Sony Ericsson regarding the issue(s) with the Xperia Arc, and they have said that they have had no problems with the few Xperia Arc phones that they have tested in their office, and advised me to return the phone to the supplier where i had bought the phone from, in which i have just done so, so hopefully by tomorrow i will receive a new one ..... so fingers crossed, i will post on here how it performs, and whether i still have the same issues regarding the sound sync when recording in HD along with any other issues that i was having......... i would suggest that anyone else experiencing these problems/issues should return there phone and get it replaced asap as i think an exchange is only possible for as long as youve only had a phone for a short while (if returning it back to you're supplier) otherwise it has to be returned to Sony Ericsson for repair

I'm sorry to hear that you guys are having this problem.
I have been testing this. I recorded a HD video for about 6 minutes and I can see that the audio does not sync properly.
I have forwarded this problem to concerned team and hopefully we'll see a fix on this in upcoming update for the phone.
At the moment I unfortunately have no info on when the next update will be released.

Thank you to the person concerned at Se that tested the Arc and noticed the fault first hand, even though we as customers did find the fault which you guys at sony ericsson should had spotted well before the phone went on sale in the first place........ anyway fault noticed and being delt with, so a big thankyou to you guys at SE for putting your hands up and owning up we all do appreciate it, we all cant wait for the this update......... and a very big thanks to all that helped regard this issue
