Hi, I have just got a new Xperia play R800i and I am trying to update my software to 3.0.1.A.0.145. The problem is my PC just hangs and I have to reeboot it. I have installed PC companion and it prompts me that there is an update available so I click to update and it goes through the process till it tell me to turn off the phone and press the back button while inseting the USB cable after that it says "Found New Hardware SEMC flash Device" then just hags and I have to restart the PC. I have dual boot windows XP and windows 7 and have tried both operating systems. Can anyone tell me what I need to do please. Thank you.
