Camera settings & Battery usage

Hi,

About camera: I remember changing the file format/size to MMS and I am unable to locate or figure out how I did that. Can someone please help me? There is a way to select the format right? I need the steps pleaseeeeeeeee.

The phone was purchased last weekend and the battery shows green within one hour of charging. One bar goes down within few SMSs and 1 phone call. (I had kept a check on the usage.) That should not happen after it is charged right? The battery usage is set to medium level and the light is low. It has not been used for browsing or many calls as yet!!

Please help, why is the battery power so weak??!!! Thinking_Face

What you can do besides the battery saving tips on the website is to try using another SIM-card, sometimes older SIM-cards tend to consume battery power. And also make sure that you're using the latest version of the software.

If you're still experiencing a low battery life time you can leave the phone for examination at a repair center. In this case contact you retailer for more info.

Check that you've selected a ringtone in the following menu.

Open messages > Press menu-key > Settings > Notification tone.

It's actually not possible to change the resolution of the photos before taking the photos. When you are to send a photo though you should get a message saying you have to make it smaller though.

Check this link for some tips on how to affect the battery performance,

Thank you. But I have already gone through the information on the website. I have not used the Internet as yet, only SMS-mainly and 3-4 phone calls that last for max 15 mins each as I am always at work. I have clicked photos without flash-around 4-5 average per day. Even then, the battery goes down within a day. Very strange as I wonder what will happen when I start using all the features! - Phone purchased: barely 6 days

If you could help me with one more issue- the incoming ringer tone for SMS, that is my SMS alert tone. Right now, I cannot figure out why it does not sound a notification, (It rings for an incoming phone call.)

In the settings-

Ringer volume is on high

Media volume is on

Phone ringtone is set

Notification ringtone is set

Silent mode is off. Anything that I have missed?

Thank you for all your help
