problem in logging to google account

HAVING RE-BOOTED SONY XPERIA GOOGLE REQUIES LOGIN AND PASSORD ORIGINALLY USED. UNFORTUNATELY I HAVE FORGOTTEN THE ORIGINAL PASSWORD, BUT GOOGLE SENDS NEW PASSWORD TO THE OLD EMAIL ACCOUNT WHICH NO LONGER EXISTS -- HOW CAN I BREAK OUT OF THIS LOOP AND GET MY SMARTPHONE BACK?

Hi @TESSIE01,  I am sorry to hear about this.

From your description of the matter at hand, it sounds like the anti theft protection of the phone (Google Device Protection) has been activated. When this occurs, you have to log in with the same Google account credentials that was entered in the phone before the factory reset.

In case you do not remember the original credentials for your Google account, a password reset is needed in order to access the protected phone again. Please note though that a change of password will trigger a 24-hour timer on your protected phone. For that period the account in question cannot be used to sign in to or unlock the phone.

If you do not remember your Google account or cannot reset the password for your google account I suggest that you send your phone to an authorized service center in order to unlock the phone. In order to do this, please contact your local support team.

Let me know if that helps! Slightly_smiling_Face
