my phone shows a sony logo and turns off emmidiately

Last month I was trying to restart my phone since it couldn't answer calls, and it couldn't turn on again. When I tried to turn it on, it showed a Sony logo n switched off emmidiately and I've been trying to turn it on and it does the same. I even tried using Xperia Champion, but still the results are the same. PLEASE ASSIST!

Hi @yam-tshe, sorry to hear about this. Slightly_frowning_Face

When you used Xperia Companion, was that to repair the software in the device? If that is the case, was the repair successful? It if was, try removing the SIM and/or SD cards from your device and start it up again, as a defect SIM or SD card can cause this kind of behaviour.

Let me know if that helps!

Good afternoon Jonas,

I did remove my sim card and memory card, but the problem is still there. And I was repairing the software when I was using Xperia Champion but it wasn't successful.

Hi again @yam-tshe!

Did you receive any error messages when trying to repair the software? Make sure that you turn off any firewall or anti virus programs as they can block the access for Xperia Companion to download the new software to your computer.

You can also try and repair the software on another computer if you have that opportunity.

Let me know what occurred during the software repair!

yes, there is an error message when I try and repair my software. I turn my phone off when repairing and it continues with the on and off while I'm doing the repairing process, its so sad Slightly_frowning_Face . In other words, emmidiately I connect it (phone) to my PC it does this on and off thingie continuously.

Hi again @yam-tshe, I apologize for the late reply.

That sounds very strange, could you try and discharge the device completely and then run the repair again? You can also try removing the SIM and/or SD card(s) during the repair (if you mounted them again).
