My headphone Jack won't detect any headphones

my M5 won't detect that I have plugged any headphones into it 

i have tried cleaning it but it worked but when I unplugged the headphones and put them back in after it doesn't work anymore 

is there any way of fixing it or will I have to get a replacement?

have you tested a different pair of headphones?

i have tried 2 pairs of headphones and it doesn't work

you could repair the phone with XC that might solve the issue if it's software related
