Hi @TyronK, I am sorry to say that according to the information which I have available, Xperia M4 Aqua is not among the devices which will receive Nougat. Slightly_frowning_Face You can find a complete list of Xperia devices which have gotten, or will get Nougat here: http://support.sonymobile.com/global-en/xperiaxa/kb/8019307401646073d015693290721003ab2/

Sony could open for the possibility to use adoptable storage, and let us choose.

Or they could let us uninstall the bloatware... I have virually no space available and must delete temp files almost everyday!

The reply when asking the support:

"We would like to thank you for the comprehensive feedback. As a premium manufacturer, we attach great importance to the opinion, criticism and suggestions of our customers. Unfortunately we have no telephones without bloatware in the assortment."

Goodbye, Sony... Waving_Hand

Then make a fix for it. It's pretty unacceptable. I love Sony products, but now I'm far from impressed.

I am sorry to hear that you feel that way @Usagi_Shimoaoi. Slightly_frowning_Face I will make sure to forward your thoughts internally as user feedback.

Hi

This is Sony M4 Aqua storage problem the best solution:

 - the phone is unlockable, you won't obtain root priviligies.

- Marsmallow support adoptable storage, but Sony's engineers disables this feauteres in M4 Aqua, WHY?

- BUT, in ADB mode you can enable this faetures!!!

- install ADB driver, power off,  and hold down volume up + plugin usb cable, while blue led light

- open cmd in ADB folder and type: fastboot devices > list your phone s/n.

- type adb devices > but not list phone! > type: fastboot reboot > phone is starting, display Sony logo and type: adb devices and it list your phone s/n.

- if phone is ADB mode, type: adb shell > sm list-disks

- take note of your device ID (disk: xxx,x)

- to partition the entire SD card space as internal storage use these commands: sm partition disk:xxx,x private > BUT this not worked me!

- sm partition disk:xxx,x mixed 50 > IT WORKS!!!

- phone rebooting and 16GB C10 sdcard from 8GB will be internal storage, summary the phone is 16GB internal storage!!!

That's all, some photos and helping link:

I've just done this today after receiving the phone (2303) for some reason when I go to install another app with limited internal storage it doesn't want to use the sd card version (one underneath) so I just sent it to the portable one instead as that worked.. I did 50/50 with memory and everything else still works great!  Screenshot_20171122-222838.png

I'm trying to install some apps, but this phone internal storage is very low.

is there a way to make my SD card as an internal storage? I don't mind if i lose

my warranty, the phone has been working fine for this whole year now. i just

want to have more storage in it.
